SUMMARY:Colorectal Cancer 5k walk and Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Victoria Family lawyer Michael Butterfield has organized Victoria’s first-ever Push For Your Tush event on July 7\, 2024. This 5/10k event will raise funds and awareness about colorectal cancer (CRC)\, the second leading cause of cancer death in Canada. If detected early\, CRC is 90% preventable and beatable. \nIf you would like to attend\, Michael has arranged a promo code for free registration: Law2024.\nClick on the link to register. \nAfter 4 years and 3 surgeries\, Michael is cancer free. He hopes that by raising awareness and encouraging people to learn the symptoms and get tested\, his recovery will help save lives. On average\, 26 people die from Colorectal Cancer each day in Canada. He is asking for a $26 donation-$1 in memory of each person who will die. With early detection\, most cases can be prevented. \nColorectal Cancer Canada (CCC) is a registered charity. \nSince my recovery\, I have worked part-time as a lawyer and spent my free time promoting awareness and advocating for better testing.
