MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT \n \nFRIDAY\, OCTOBER 18\, 2024  \n18 Hole Scramble and 9 Hole Par 3 Option with Dinner and Prizes to follow at the Cordova Bay Golf Course \nThe Victoria Bar mourns the loss of Ralston Alexander\, K.C.\, whose contributions have left an indelible mark within the local legal community and beyond. Renowned for his exceptional legal acumen and unwavering integrity\, Ralston was also known for his sparkling wit and love of golf. The VBA has named its annual golf tournament in Ralston’s honour as a tribute to his legacy of excellence\, not only in the practice of law but also on the golf course\, where his humour and generosity of spirit made every round a memorable\, laughter-filled experience. \n  \nWhere & When \nCordova Bay Golf Course – 5533 Cordova Bay Rd.\, Victoria\, BC \nFriday\, October 18\, 2024 \n18 Hole Scramble – Tee times from 11:30am to 1:00pm – at Bay Course \n9 Hole Par 3 Course – Tee times from 3:30pm onward – at Ridge Course \nGolf will be followed by a Dinner at the Cordova Bay Golf Course (Bill Mattick’s Restaurant) at 6:00pm \nPrizes (Best Score\, Longest Drive\, KP\, and more) will be awarded at the Dinner!  \n  \nTournament Format \nScramble Scoring in a Nutshell \nEach team player hits from the tee box\, then the team members choose the best of those shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. The team then records its score and maintains this format for all 18 holes. \n  \nDinner Menu \n\nmixed greens\, caesar salad\, greek salad\, potato salad\nroasted potatoes\nsteamed seasonal vegetables penne with tomato sauce\, kale\, leeks\, fennel\, chickpeas (vegetarian entrée option)\ngrilled chicken in bacon\, mushroom & leek cream sauce (meat entrée option)\ngrilled NY steak\, red wine demi glace (meat entrée option)\nsliced meat mirror\ncheese mirror\nsliced fruit\ndessert buffet\n\n  \nPricing \n$285/Person Includes 18 Hole Scramble Golf (Bay Course) and Dinner \n***$25/Person will be donated to the Ralston S.
