DESCRIPTION:The Battle of the Bar Bands Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the: \nVictoria Battle of the Bar Bands  \nThursday\, April 2\, 2026 \n  \nTICKETS ON SALE FEBRUARY 18!! \nGet your tickets early to avoid disappointment! \nAll tickets can be purchased online. The Victoria Battle of the Bar Bands will be held before the April long weekend on Thursday\, April 2\, 2026 at the Da Vinci Centre. Bands made up of local lawyers and others from the legal community will fill the dance floor in front of a panel of distinguished Judges. The best band will be awarded the coveted Rob Richie Memorial Battle of the Bar Bands trophy\, with the Ivan Elieff Memorial Trophy going to the best band of the mini battle for best cover! It’s anyone’s to win this year – will we see the Remnants reclaim the victory? Or will a young UVic band step up to the challenge? \nThe Greek on the Street food truck will once again be right outside with delicious Greek food throughout the event so plan on having dinner and snacks there. 50/50 tickets will be available during the event. \nThe first band starts playing at 7pm sharp! The bars will be serving until 11pm. \nTickets \nTickets will be available beginning February 18. DESCRIPTION:Event Details \n  \nThe Battle of the Bar Bands will be held March 31\, 2023 at the Da Vinci Centre\, at 195 Bay St. Six local bands made up of local lawyers and law students will play their hearts out in front of a panel of real judges (one from the Supreme Court\, one from the Provincial Court and celebrity Judge\, Times Colonist columnist JACK KNOX). The best band will be awarded the coveted Battle of the Bar Bands Trophy!  As in years’ past\, there will also be a mini-competition where bands perform the music of a featured artist. This year’s featured artist is the Rolling Stones. \n  \nDoors open at 6pm.
