The Victoria Bar Association offers free access to full “Membership” status for:

• retired members who have been Vicbar members during their career;
• students who are currently articling in Victoria; and
• Victoria lawyers in their first year of call.

If you fall into one of these categories, please go to the Contact page and select “Membership Questions” from the list of subjects. This will direct your email to our Vice President, and you can outline your status deserving free membership.

Our Vice President can then manually upgrade your status from “Subscriber” to “Member” once you have signed up.
