Join the Victoria Bar Association and CBABC as we march in the 2026 Victoria Pride Parade!

Date: Sunday, July 12th
Time: 9:30 a.m. (meet-up)
11 a.m. (parade starts)
Place: Downtown meeting location TBA
Cost: Free!

The parade starts at 11:00 am, so we will be meeting up for 9:30 am to decorate our float and ourselves. The Parade will likely finish around 2:00 pm. We’ll provide water and small snacks, as well as some hats, umbrellas, decorations, and costume items for showing our Pride.  We invite you to wear what inspires you / keeps you comfortable. Non-lawyer staff, family and friends are welcome to participate!

If you are interested in joining us for the 2026 Victoria Pride Parade, please contact Hana Felix at hana@islandlawoffice.ca. They will keep you updated about the meeting location and any other logistics, and will let you know about a social meet-up during the week before the parade for anyone who would like to connect in advance. If you are interested in participating, but hesitant because you don’t know anyone else who will be there or for any other reason, please contact Hana! We can connect you to friendly people who will be attending or discuss other accommodations.

At a time when the rights of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community are facing attacks across the country and the continent, it is more important than ever that lawyers have a strong showing at the Pride Parade. We hope you can join us!
