This groundbreaking legislation provides new legal remedies for victims of the non-consensual sharing of intimate images, including AI-generated and digitally altered images. The Act empowers the Civil Resolution Tribunal to issue expedited protection orders, require the removal of online content, award damages, and address threats to distribute intimate images.
