Before the pandemic, Law Day was an annual event that celebrated the signing of the Charter. Members of the public were invited to the courthouse to learn about the law and the roles played by lawyers, courthouse staff, judiciary and others in maintaining an independent, functioning justice system. Past events have included talks with judges, fairy-tale trials, tours of cells, and police K-9 demonstrations. Come be part of bringing this important event back to Victoria!
