Victoria Bar Association Annual Bonspiel 2024
Join us on February 10 for a day of fun and exercise and a chance to dress up in hilarious costumes and compete for prizes at the annual VBA Bonspiel!
Brooms and rocks will be provided so just bring your costumes (with some extra insulation) and your smile.
What: Bonspiel (a Curling Tournament) with Costumes!
Where: Archie Browning Sports Centre (1151 Esquimalt Rd)
Who: VBA Members, Lawyers, Staff, Law Students, and Family (No Ringers)
When: Saturday, February 10, 2024
12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Optional Curling Tutorial
12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m – Bonspiel
3:30 p.m. to 4:30pm – Post-Bonspiel Social at the Lounge (overlooks the curling rink) for Prizes and Refreshments
How Much: $200.00 per Team of Four; $50 per Individual
*Ticket does not include food or beverage at the Lounge. Tickets are transferable but non-refundable*
To register, simply follow these three steps:
- Purchase a ticket via Paypal on the Victoria Bar Association Events page;
- Choose a costume theme for your team (or for yourself); and
- Email your team name and roster to Andrew Kaban (andrew.kaban@gov.bc.ca).
Deadline to register is Friday, February 2, 2024.
We will match up any individuals who do not have a team of four. Tournament schedule and rules will be sent to each team closer to the event.
